Why Choose Solidity for Your Screw Piling Project?

End-to-End Solution

Solidity provides a complete service for all helical piling projects. From initial design and consultation to manufacturing, testing, and installation, we partner closely with clients at every stage. Our approach ensures smooth project delivery, reduces risk, and helps you meet critical timelines.

In-House Manufacturing

At our Thomastown, Victoria facility, all piles are manufactured from Australian-supplied C350 grade steel. Our process uses robotic welding for consistent strength, and we provide full QA documentation (MDRs), including galvanising inspections. Our streamlined manufacturing process, which has a throughput of up to 6,000 screw piles per month (based on 2m x 76mm piles), supports short lead times even for custom designs.

Efficient Installation

Solidity’s in-house installation team uses advanced, company-owned machinery to install up to 120 piles per day per machine. Our machines are capable of installing piles with torque capacities up to 65,000 Nm. We also use digital logging of torque and depth at every pile to ensure full AS2159 compliance. This efficiency helps solar farms and BESS projects meet tight schedules without compromising quality.

Expert Engineering & Design

We provide expert consulting for pile design in full compliance with AS2159-2009. Our engineering team provides pile load testing and certification, and supports projects from conception through construction and any remedial works. We have a proven ability to design around variable ground conditions, and for the Limondale BESS project, our design was specifically adapted to handle variable soil strata and tight construction timelines.

Supply-Only Option

All components are manufactured in-house, allowing us to fulfil supply-only orders efficiently. This is ideal for contractors managing their own solar farm or BESS installation projects.

Compliance & Sustainability

Our projects are Green Star compliant and achieve 100% local content. By significantly reducing the use of concrete, we lower the carbon footprint of each project and speed up construction. Additionally, our installation methodology is designed to minimize spoil and site disturbance, contributing to a cleaner, more efficient build.

Helical Pile & Screw Pile Manufacturer

Solidity is a leading manufacturer of helical and screw piles, with all products manufactured entirely in-house at our Thomastown, Victoria, facility. Our process, overseen by our Manufacturing Manager, adheres to strict quality management and assurance procedures. We use robotic welding and CNC plasma profiling for precision and consistency. All welding procedures are compliant with AS/NZS 1554.1, with inspection and verification at each stage. We exclusively use Australian-supplied C350 grade steel. Our galvanised piles are inspected in accordance with AS/NZS 4680, and test certificates and detailed project MDRs are available upon request. This process ensures we can offer short lead times even for custom projects.

Quality Materials

We exclusively use Australian-supplied C350 grade steel for all piles. Each completed pile is inspected for compliance with welding standards. Full material traceability records are available, and test certificates for pile shafts and plates, as well as detailed Material Data Reports (MDRs), can be provided on request.

Efficient Production & Ready Stock

Our streamlined manufacturing process can produce up to 6,000 screw piles per month (based on 2 m x 76 mm piles), ensuring short lead times for standard and custom projects. To ensure timely production, we maintain up to 200 tonnes of pipe material and sufficient plate material for over 1,200 standard-sized helix plates at any time.

Compliance & Sustainability

All designs and manufacturing meet AS2159-2009 requirements, ensuring quality and safety. We use 100% Australian-made steel, which not only supports local content but also helps meet sustainability targets. Furthermore, our installation methodology is designed to reduce spoil and minimise environmental impact.

Our Screw Piling Expertise in Action

Screw Pile & Helical Pile Design

Our in-house engineering team prepares pile designs in full compliance with AS2159-2009. We offer custom screw and helical piles that consider design loads, geotechnical strength, design life, and corrosion allowances.

Piling Supplier

All components are manufactured in-house, enabling efficient supply-only orders across Australia.

Pile Finishes

We supply piles in three finishes: raw, painted, and galvanised. Our team can provide guidance on the best finish for your site conditions.

Our Screw Piling Expertise in Action

Limondale Solar Farm BESS

For Symal Infrastructure in Balranald, NSW, Solidity supplied and installed 864 piles and 864 caps for the BESS foundations. We successfully managed the project’s variable soil strata and completed the foundations within an accelerated program.

Wangaratta Alpine Solar Farms

At this Wangaratta, VIC project for Clean Peak Energy, Solidity supplied and installed 49 piles and 49 custom caps. We delivered the foundations in difficult clay soils on a short lead time.
